Rollingpoint - Summer-Intensive

Summer-Intensive 2017: Jul 10th - 15th

„Surfing Buoyant Motion Bliss“
Contact Improvisation, fascial intelligence and hands on body work
with Christian Apschner and maRia Probst
in St.Corona and Kirchberg am Wechsel / Lower Austria close to Vienna
for people with previous experience in CI and /or hands on body work. The intensive is meant to be an informed further training. Participants can get a confirmation of participation.
The core aspect of this sumer intensive will be hands on body work mainly focussing the fascial aspects. It will allow us to learn on a deeper somatic level in order to loco mote and align ourselves with ease as well as to refine our ability to perceive and connect. Tangible knowledge about anatomic and physiologic relations will be balanced with the subjective sensing and experiencing body reality. Above all body work skills are simply convenient tools in order to offer each other treats, release stress and help each other into a comfortable and relaxed state.
„Surfing Buoyant Motion Bliss“
Buoyant = vivid, elastic, receptible, floating…..these and more are qualities inherent to our fascial system. Seemingly contradictions such as forming and liquid or connecting and separating can be effortless combined within this for a long time untended tissue. How it is doing it and how it is connected to our alignment, to our motion, to Contact Improvisation and the means of creation within, we will find out over the course of the week.
contents of this summer intensive amongst others will be:
introduction into fascial anatomy
specific touch, hands on body work
how to use fascial intelligence within CI
applications in to movement and training in general
connections to other body systems (like muscles, bones, organs ext.)
fascial qualities and creative process
dancing in nature

Contact Improvisation - "Unfolding Creativity"

open level

with maRia Probst and Christian Apschner (dance) and Bernhard Weiss (music)

rollingpoint's summer intensives have regularly taken place once per year since 2007. They each have been dedicated to a certain theme. In touch with nature living in a community over several days facilitates a deep immersion into the world of Contact Improvisation.
